In fulfilling the long felt needs of the Cattle and Poultry farmers and having felt the need for supply of superior quality feeds, the parent Company SKM Animal Feeds and Foods (India) Limited was started in the year 1983 with the production capacity of 36,000 M.Ts of Animal Feeds per year.

With the continued improvement and innovation, SKM today occupies a pre-dominant position in the Cattle and Poultry Feed industry with an extensive network of the more than 1,000 dealers by selling 3,00,000 M.Ts. of Animal Feeds per year.

Having engraved the name in the Animal Feed Industry, SKM ventured into egg processing with a project cost of 52 Crores and in technical collaboration with Belovo of Belgium in the year 1997. SKM Egg Products Export (India) Limited is breaking 12 lacs eggs per day, today exporting 4,300 M.ts. of egg powder to 27 different countries worldwide.

SKM Group has recently diversified into solvent extraction and refining edible oil. The new refinery unit has a strong infrastructure with state of the art technology technology with an extraction capacity of 400 M.ts and processing capacity of 100 Mts. of edible oil. 

With the above strong background, SKM has launched refined pure Rice Bran Oil in the entire market of Tamilnadu with the brand name “PORNA”.
